Hello! I’m Keely, thank you for choosing to learn more about my small business.
Primarily a performing artist, I’ve always had a passion for self expression through visual and creative art forms.
My career in performance art lead to meeting many artists - including a face painter in New Zealand, who taught me the basics to create my own designs.
I began my face painting journey when I returned to Australia in 2017. I bought myself a basic kit and a few brushes to start painting at my local sporting club’s celebrations.
As my knowledge and skills grew over time, my business expanded organically and rapidly to service events and companies across North Brisbane & Moreton Bay region.
Keely’s Face Painting now has a team professional artists & entertainers available to hire and we share our art with thousands of people at celebrations all year round!
My partner Karim has always been part of my business, but decided to work with me as an artist in 2023 and has honed his skills to take over as lead artist at our permanent stalls with Carseldine & Redcliffe Markets.
Together we also won awards at the 2024 Australian Body Art Festival for our first body painting as artist (Keely) and model (Karim):

This year I am managing our business from Victoria while I’m on contract performing with the circus and Karim is leading our artistic team in Queensland.
Keely’s Face Painting brings colour and sparkle to a range of events, from private parties to popular high volume events such as Dolphins NRL games, Redcliffe Kite Festival and Moreton Bay PRIDE Fest.
Face painting is for all ages and we love creating a unique design for every skin with a fun, safe environment.
